Songs, Honeydew and Pumpkins...Oh My!

I was SO proud of our class for their participation in the RSCA Fall Concert. I thought everyone did a fantastic job. It was a fun evening and I enjoyed hearing the upper grades sing their songs as well.

On Friday, Mr. Gator Hodges (Noah's dad) brought us an "H" treat--honeydew melon! A lot of the students had never tried it before and almost everyone really liked it. Thanks, Mr. Hodges!

This Monday, Mr. Trey had a special Bible time for the 3K and 4K classes. He told us all about how Christians are like pumpkins...once filled with "yucky" stuff, but Jesus gets rid of all that and puts His light inside of us to shine through. A great message for all ages.

Here are a few pictures from the past month that I "found" on my everyday camera (the one I keep in my purse for those cute 'everyday' moments at home and school).

Southern Belle Field Trip

We had a GREAT time at Southern Belle Farms. It was a bit warm and we had to wait our turn a few times...but it was worth it to do all the fun activities, see and feed the animals, watch a cow being milked, pick pumpkins, and eat a picnic lunch too.

Thanks to the parents and chaperones who made keeping up with everyone a lot easier. We didn't even lose anyone in the corn maze...a small fear of mine. :)

Here are a few of my favorite pictures from the day. Go to http://www.flickr.com/photos/27343468@N06/sets/72157608087396530/show/
to see a slideshow of all 167 of them...

Our Class Blog

We are learning and playing and having so much fun in our 4K class! I want to use this blog to be able to keep you and your family involved and informed. I will do my very best to update often with pictures and stories about our class. We have a great field trip coming up to the pumpkin farm, so I'm sure they'll be some pictures to share soon! (The above picture is from our visit by Johnny Appleseed).

Thanks for checking in...come back again!
